Eric Wood limited the East Cobb Astros 17s to four hits and two runs and struck out two over seven complete innings to earn the win for the Ontario Blue Jays in a 3-2 win that put the Jays into the playoff round. Wood's fastball ranged from 80-84mph with very good location.

The Jays CF Cam Mattice provided the key blow with a two RBI double in the second and then came around to score the Jays third run of the inning.
